Born in The Netherlands into a wildly international family, I’ve always had an appreciation for the many ways people around the world make a house feel like home. Now, I live by the ocean in Nova Scotia with my two boys and my husband.

Having lived in various places in the world, I’ve come to realise that home can mean so many things, but one thing is constant: it should feel like a breath of fresh air—calm, joyful, and filled with the things that are precious to us.

That’s why I create original artwork and painterly patterns designed to bring warmth and personality and love to your space. Whether it’s a bright floral or a wooded landscape, my work is crafted to make your home feel as beautiful and unique as you are.

Here’s what I believe, as an artist about art & the home:

• Own only what brings you joy - because life's a bit rubbish when surrounded by things you hate

• Skip the bland bits - honestly, who wants their home to look like a waiting room?

• Use colour and pattern wherever you can - it's cheaper than therapy, really so that’s a super handy excuse

• Go for handmade - because even though I love me a BILLY as much as the next person, mass-produced perfection is probably frightfully dull

• Make things yourself - turns out it's rather satisfying to say "Oh this? I made it actually". (I’m talking upholstery and art here because I’m not allowed to use power tools.)

• Know your own taste - because following trends is exhausting, isn't it?
